What if there were a way to clear the “Can’t” and call in the “Yes!”
There is.
When last we saw Ruby she was people watching — noticing the difference between those ‘with time’ and those who are ‘out of time’. Maybe that’s what’s helping her to feel spacious enough to think seriously about looking for a job…..
By changing the name of the game, her emotional response to it changes too. The new name is causing her to get into it more and more….
Interestingly, when Ruby’s energy changes from ‘got to’ to ‘want to’, that’s when the universe is able to start to do its thing.
Wait, what’s the universe’s ‘thing’?
When the feeling you have about what you what you want to go after is “all in” on every level — thoughts and feelings both “all in” — that’s when the universe is able to start delivering the people, resources, and synchronicities that are a match for your goal. As Ruby is about to experience….
Ruby’s most sincere wish for “play that pays” may be informed by her stomach, but it’s made with her whole heart in it. That’s one of the things the universe responds favorably to.
How about you?

The power of being happy and excited about a goal
When you’re happy and excited about what you’ve decided to go after… thst’s when, as one of teachers, Margaret Lynch Raniere say, “something unexplainable engages”. And that ‘unexplainable something’ then begins to deliver to you everything you need to make that Goal happen.
When you’re happy and excited about a Goal…
From the outside world you start getting just the right people… resources… ideas from others… crazy synchronicities… unexpected opportunities.
And what’s going on inside of you feels inspired… motivated… creative… your heart’s totally in it. It feels fun, like a puzzle that needs to be solved. And the reason it feels so good is everything that’s showing up — both internally and externally — is totally aligned with your Goal.
So IF all of that is what naturally goes along with feeling happy and excited about our meaningful Goals, why don’t we feel happy and excited about them?
The short answer is ‘limiting beliefs'.
Those negative thoughts and feelings about ourselves and the world tucked away in our unconscious informing us “Not possible… for ME”.

Before we tap, we’ll set ourselves up with an exercise I use when helping people identify what’s in the way of making more money.
For this one, get pen and paper and write down the answers you come up with. You can listen to and/or read these instructions….
Start by coming up with a Goal.
Make it something you really want, BUT that for some reason you’re not actively (or as actively as you could be) going after.Once you’ve got a meaningful, under-acted-upon Goal in mind, imagine it.
As in, “paint yourself the picture” of having that Goal realized.
What does it look like? Feel like? Sound like?
What do you get out of having realized this Goal?
What does it do for you?Give your Goal a title.
Say the title of your Goal aloud followed by the words: “It's impossible.”
I know, seems like it would be unhelpful, but speaking the words “It's impossible” is giving voice to your Inner-Nay-Sayer. And you want to know what THAT part of you thinks and feels.Use the 0-10 scale to measure the veracity of “It’s impossible” (again, this is your Inner-Nay-Sayer’s pov)
(10 = completely true that it’s impossible,
0 = it’s not true at all because it’s totally possible and likely)Name the feeling(s) that go along with believing “It's impossible”.
Maybe “It's impossible” only feels true at a 5 or 6, but when it feels true (at all), notice what emotions get triggered.
Your belief in “It's impossible” makes you feel HOW?
You’ve now got what you need to use tapping to 1. Acknowledge what’s there, 2. Let go of the resistance, and 3. Open yourself to far greater possibilities around your Goal.
Tapping Script: From “It’s Impossible” to “I’m All In”
Start by tuning in to your Goal.
Say the title of your goal out loud, followed by: “It’s impossible.”
Notice what the feelings are that go along with your level of belief in being able to live that dream… Notice how strong they are…
Got it?
Begin tapping on the side of your hand under your pinky, the karate chop point, to acknowledge the issue….
Even if I don’t believe it’s fully possible yet...
Even if part of me says “You wish!”...
Even if this goal lights me up but also shuts me down...
I give myself permission to meet myself where I am.
Now begin tapping through the points…
The truth is I really want this.
But I’m not “all in” with it.
Yet.
Because part of me doesn’t believe I can have it.A part of me is holding myself back.
Stopping me from going for it fully.
Somewhere inside, “It’s impossible” still feels true.
And when I believe that,
I feel… ____ [insert your feeling: sad, discouraged, stuck, anxious, ashamed...]
And when I feel that way,
Of course I don’t take action.
Or if I do, it’s half-hearted.
And I’m just acknowledging that right now.

All the ways I know I hold myself back
it’s time to let that go now
Whatever it means
whatever it represents
wherever it came from
it’s time to let it go nowWhatever holds me back, down, out,
I’m lovingly releasing it
I honor any and all of the ways
that “holding myself back” has protected me from harm
— imagined or real —
in the form of sadness, fear, rejection, anger, abandonment,
it’s time to let that go
feelings of helpless and hopelessness
judgment, failure, feelings of no control,
it’s time to let that go
worthlessness, undeservingness
and anything else that has been holding me back,
it’s time to let it ALL go now
with a lot of love on top

Letting go of all “absolute” thinking
around my Goal
the shoulds, the shouldn’t
can/can’t
will/won’t
do/don’t
must/mustn’t
have/have not
right/wrong, good/bad
always/never
all that black and white thinking
that limits me
keeps me stuck
it’s time to let those go now
along with anything else
that prevents me from owning what I want
and using my beautiful life force
to go after it.
And as I let that go,
my whole world changes for the better.

What if the truth is I love a good challenge?
What if letting go of the old habit
of playing smaller than I truly AM…
were easy for me to do?
What if that old knee-jerk response
that shuts down the dream…
just evaporated?
What if the old way of being in relationship
to what I want
turned into something new and improved?
Because what if my Goal picked ME
for a reason?
What if this spark of inspiration is WELL worth following?
What if I were committed to changing my mind
one neural connection in my brain at a time
to form new neural pathways
that make things infinitely easier for me?
And what if making those changes were as easy as…
asking myself better questions (with feeling!) like…
Why am I so good at letting go
of the old stories about what’s possible?
Why am I so good at allowing
the inherited doubt,
the fear dressed up as practicality,
to be tapped away?
Why am I so good at using my imagination
to create new neural pathways?
Why am I so good at using brain science
to my advantage?
Why am I so good at installing new beliefs?
Like how worthy, deserving, capable, loved, loving, and lovable I am?
How open, ready, excited, happy and aligned
I am with my Goal?
Clear now that when I feel good about my Goal,
things naturally start to happen.
People show up.
Ideas drop in.
And magic unfolds.
